It's not even November yet and the first illustration anthology for the Year of the Rabbit has already been released. Bishoujo Illustrations New Year Collection 2011 brings together 50 artists to illustrate New Year's postcards, incorporating the rabbit in a variety of beautiful and adorable ways.

Kawaku's newest illustration collection came out during Comiket 78, and is aptly titled Summer Clock (夏時計). This full color doujinshi includes several brightly themed summer works along with a few of his Aquarian Age Saga 3 card game illustrations.

Wooser (うーさー) is the brainchild of Supercell designer Usa Yoshiki (宇佐義大) and in its short existence has garnered much adoration from fans for being small, furry and yellow. But there is a darker force in the Wooser world, and that would be the subject of today's post, Darth Wooser. DW presented by CHANxCO from insidEBox brings together 26 artists to illustrate Darth Wooser in all her glory.

This season's GELATIN magazine sparkles! I'm not even joking, for some reason they thought a cross-hatch holographic cover was a good idea. Then again, it did make me feel like a kid again. With many of the usual GELATIN artists along with a few new ones, GELATIN 2010 Autumn あき seems a little more polished than recent issues.

Ideolo of NEKO WORKi released an all Touhou illustration book for Comiket 78 called Carnival Fantasy which for the most part features colorful single character illustrations of many of the main Touhou girls. Ideolo has an interesting almost paper cut-out like style to his illustrations, and it really shines in this collection with stylized backgrounds to match.

Gitabon 03 Illustrations was released for Comiket 78 and includes Guitar's (ぎた) art works from 2009 through 2010. This is the third full-color doujinshi he's released, and like others before it, it features his original mascot character Dokuro-Usako.

Chayamachi Suguro is the artist for the manga adaptations of Nitro+ CHiRAL's Togainu no Chi and Lamento - Beyond the Void. If you've ever seen the art work for either of those you'll know that while it stays true to the designs from the visual novels, the line work is often intentionally rough and sometimes basic, making her work unique among the Nitro+ CHiRAL artists.

Rin-Sin Visual Art Works is the second art book released by Rin-Sin but considering the last art book came out more than nine years ago, it was well overdue! Though Rin-Sin doesn't work on many different series, he's done a lot of illustrations from current hits like Queen's Blade as well as Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny, Great Guardians and Xtreme Xecutor.
